Professional sales and after sales service, technical support was prompt and efficient. Installation was simple and right first time. The new installations have proved totally reliable and performing as specified (we run 24/7 -365 days a year). End of line production quality and value added processes now sustainable. If you’re sick of Italian poor build and spares availability then I suggest Endoline - simple robust and well engineered (especially the tape heads).

High Tech, Innovative and Premium are the Buzz Words for Endoline Machinery at this Year's Total Show

01 March 2010

25-27 May 2010, NEC, Birmingham, Hall 5, Stand 5334

This year’s Total Show will see Endoline Machinery showcasing their most advanced series of machinery to date – firmly securing them as the UK’s premium end of line packaging specialist.

Testament to Endoline’s commitment to innovating their machines to the highest standard the company will put the spotlight on their unique 734 fully automatic random case sealer – which, by incorporating the latest technology, has the ability to close and seal a fully random size of cases. At a speed of 20 cases per minute the 734 is running at twice the speed of original case sealers.

In addition the new ‘On-Edge’ System - which was launched at last year’s PPMA Show – will be showcased. This new machine was developed between Endoline and Quin Systems following the continuing success of their joint creation, the Versapack, and offers customers a new variant which is ideally suited to packing ‘shelf-ready’ as well as standard cases. Products can now be packed in almost any orientation including ‘On-Edge’, which presents the product to its best advantage on the supermarket shelf.

As the only UK based end of line packaging machinery manufacturer who design and produce their machines here in the UK, Endoline has the unique ability to develop machines which are to their customer’s specific requirements. A demonstration of this would be the recent installation of an Endoline 221 fully automatic Case Erector within a factory for an egg packing company. In order for the 221 Case Erector to work in tandem with other machines used by the egg packers Endoline modified it to run at a speed of up to 20 cases per minute.

Notes to Editors Since the company’s inception over 25 years ago Endoline has built an enviable reputation as one of the country’s leading end-of-line packaging machinery manufacturers. Renowned not just for quality machinery but also for excellent design and customer service Endoline continues to develop and extend their range of machinery in line with customer needs and demands.

Designed purely with the needs of customers in mind, Endoline’s range of machinery demonstrates some special and unique features. For example the 221 series of case erectors incorporates a dual opposing vacuum case opening mechanism designed to ensure each case is opened positively from both sides. This provides efficient and reliable opening of cases and reduces damage – particularly important when erecting shelf-ready cases. Also showcasing the ‘baby’ case erector. The model 221 can erect cases up to 20 per minute, two further models are available - the 227 which is pneumatically driven and can erect up to 22 cases per minute and the servo driven 228 which can erect up to 26 cases per minute

The Endoline 220 series of case erectors is versatile enough to erect both standard corrugated and plastic corrugated cases which can be placed directly onto the shelf or into a freezer. They can also handle a number of different designs of cases and trays with hinged lids and pre-glued bases. These machines are designed to have a small footprint and therefore take up less floor space.

The principle of The Versapack is simple - an Endoline 220 series case erector frame is used to mount the picking head and product feed conveyor, which results in an extremely compact footprint. This has been possible due to the high speed of Quin’s Rtheta™ picking head, thereby allowing a simpler and more compact product collating area to be used. • Compact footprint; 1.8m long x 1.8m wide x 2.1m high • Offers a solution for 'standard' production line pitch of 2.5m • Modular infeed system can be added to handle flexible packs and shelf-ready packing configurations The Versapack can be supplied with a bespoke infeed system to allow products such as sachets to be easily overlapped to achieve a much tighter fit within the case.

The Endoline 602 fully-automatic case taper folds the top flaps of each case before sealing, thereby reducing packing time and increasing throughput – essential for today’s demanding production schedules. Furthermore, to reduce down time the machine can be fitted with ‘tape low’ and ‘tape broken’ indicators and a range of other optional extras. The machines can also be adapted for either hot melt glue or self-adhesive tape depending on customer needs.
