The forthcoming PPMA show will set the stage for Endoline Machinery’s latest machine launch.
True to their enviable reputation for providing innovative engineering solutions, Endoline will showcase the enhanced 221/223 Mk3 Case Erector at the PPMA Show in September. While the machine specifications remain fundamentally unchanged the appearance and certain technical details have been improved.
Changes to the 221/223 Mk3 Case Erector include the extension of the hopper section by 50mm in length to accommodate all of the specified case size ranges - however the machine still boasts a compact footprint due to the removable top mounted hopper. A touch screen human machine interface has also been installed – available in four different languages and in addition fewer size change adjustments are now required, therefore allowing the production line to continue running.
Features remaining include the dual opposing vacuum case opening - a unique system designed to ensure each case is opened positively from both sides overcoming problems associated with stiff board and glue migration from the manufacturer’s joint.
Fully working systems also being showcased by Endoline in Hall 5, Stands A70 include models from the new Phoenix Range and the Versapack.
Following its international launch at Interpack in April Versapack – a compact case erecting and packing system - is set for its UK launch at this year’s PPMA show.
Unlike traditional combined machines, designed by specialists in either case erecting or case packing, Versapack is a class above as it has been uniquely created by two of the leading companies in their fields – resulting in a system without compromise.
Developed jointly by robot manufacturer Quin Systems and end of line packaging manufacturer Endoline Machinery the Versapack is a combination of Quin’s high speed automatic RTheta Casepacker and an Endoline 220 series case erecting machine. The effect of these machines working in tandem offers customer’s additional options for high-speed case packing in areas where automation may not currently be possible.
