Endoline Machinery, the UK’s leading manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machines, has assisted Kingsland Wines and Spirits in increasing both their productivity and capabilities with the installation of a new system range.
In response to the growth in the wine bag-in-box market and customer requirements to be able to offer it in a variety of sizes, the Manchester based company were faced with the need to upgrade their existing bag-in-box production facilities.
Up until this point Kingsland had successfully used an Endoline system, consisting of a case erector and case sealer, for almost 12 years – testament to the longevity of Endoline machines.
Endoline continuously look for ways to improve on their machines through innovative engineering solutions and recommended the installation of an Endoline 208 Case Erector. Greatly updated over the years the installation of this machine saw case erection speeds increase to 25 cases per minute with quick change over between the various sizes which ranged up to 10 litres.
The original Endoline 402 fully automatic Case Sealer used by Kingsland Wine and Spirits was serviced and to complete the system Endoline installed a 501 Tray Erector along with the 311 Pick and Place machine to automatically load the product into the trays.
