Partners
Endoline enjoys close relationships with many leading companies within the packaging industry, as it recognises the mutual benefits to be had from sharing specialist knowledge in order to deliver the best solutions to customers, whether they wish to buy a complete system or just to know that the individual components within their system are compatible with each other and the materials to be used.
Endoline works only in partnership with machinery companies that share its view of supplying class-leading equipment backed up by a professional attitude to customer support.
Among the many partnerships, two stand out as being particularly significant for the way in which they compliment the respective capabilities of each company.
Quin Systems
Quin Systems is a UK manufacturer of control systems that has successfully added a wide range of applications experience to its portfolio. This began with a number of challenging projects that involved converting mechanical packaging machines including vertical and horizontal form and seal machines to become servo controlled, thereby increasing speed and efficiency. Quin then went on to develop their patented RTheta high speed picking head at which point the company moved into producing complete packing lines, which is when they approached Endoline to supply case erecting and sealing machinery to complete the system.
After a number of successful “modular” machine systems were installed and proven, the two companies saw an opportunity to develop an industry-leading machine, the Versapack, by combining Endoline’s tried and tested case erector with the well-proven RTheta picking head.
The result is a machine that can erect and load cases with a variety of product types including flow wrap, pillow pack, cartons and trays at speeds of up to 18 cases per minute and 100 picks per minute; all within the same footprint of a standard Endoline case erector.
The key to the success of this machine is that, unlike most other combined erector/loaders, Versapack benefits from having the best erector and best loading equipment available as each module is designed and built by experts in their field.

ABB Limited
Endoline have launched a complete packaging assembly line with a robotic pick and place system as part of a new partnership with ABB Limited - one of the world’s leading robotic companies.
The ABB robot will form an integral part of Endoline’s new packaging module which will be built and programmed into an Endoline conveyor system. The conveyor will feed from a high speed case erector and into a case sealer –the type of Endoline machines will be determined based on each customer’s individual needs - highlighting the diversity of this project.
Endoline recently showcased the new line using an ABB IRB1600 robot – which delivers maximum output from a smaller footprint.
Alan Yates, CEO of Endoline Machinery, commented: “We are delighted to become part of ABB’s Robotic Partner Network. With their network of global offices we are looking forward to working with them to support out our worldwide activities especially in China where we are opening a satellite manufacturing unit.”
Alan Spreckley, Channel Partner Manager of ABB Robotics commented: “Endoline Machinery is renowned globally as the leader in their field of producing high quality and extremely reliable end of line packaging equipment. ABB are proud and very pleased to welcome Endoline into the ABB Global Partner Programme and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
